Every year the Tampa Museum of Art puts together an upscale gathering known as Pavilion. The event is themed and has featured artists and hosts. This year the guest artist, Luftwerk, were commissioned to help put on a show. Luftwerk is the collaborative vision of Petra Bachmaier and Sean Gallero and their media installations merge video and light with material, surface, and structure, shaping content into an immersive sculptural experience.
In order to get attendees, and donors, ready for the event, we created the Save-the-Date and Invitation using light in letter form to create the pieces. The photography was challenging, but we were able to capture the human form joined with the long exposure letter forms.
